Galina Ivory Cashmere Style 26310232 9SLSWG862 IVYC Budget-friendly unclassified dresses

This gorgeous sexy Galina Signature Gown in Ivory Cashmere color was perfect for my outdoor wedding in Big Sur, CA.  As a large-chested gal, I knew I needed something that would hold in the girls, but I still wanted to look sexy for my groom.  I had the factory cups removed (because they are never in the right place and were smashing instead of lifting the girls!) which then allowed me to wear a corset that put everything on display perfectly.  I did, however, need alterations to add some more applique flowers to the front in order to cover the very front of the corset, otherwise it was visible in the photos (as seen in first fitting photo).  Beautiful keyhole back.  Long sleeves made is so there were no worries about any odd photo angles or bat wings.  Not once the whole night did I have to tug or adjust any element of the dress!  Slits on both thighs made it easy to walk and showed some leg.  Bodice is fitted but was comfortable to sit and eat in.  The underskirt has shimmer which catches the light beautifully when you move.  Just the tiniest bit of train trails behind when you walk.  Lots of layers to the skirt for movement, but I chose not to use a hoop or bustle to make them look puffy.  Fabric covered buttons are a lovely detail at wrist and neck closure.  I did not need any alterations on sleeve or hem length.  Those are in original form.  They did take in bodice about 0.5 in on each side, remove cups, and add more floral detail to cleavage area.  There is a small tear in one of the underskirt layers that occurred during one of the fittings, but was just mended easily.  I would imagine I stepped on it.  Completely NOT visible when dress is on.  21" across pit to pit when laid flat.  Sleeve length 25" from shoulder to wrist, 19" from pit to wrist.  Tulle length 46" from belt to bottom of skirt, underskirt 44" from belt to hem in front.  Zipper close to train end is 62" in back.  Skirt to bottom length at sides is 58".  Open back from neck to waist is 14".  Top of mesh in front to belt is 11", from applique flowers to belt is 6" (to give you an idea of how much cleavage will show).  Side slits are 29" from hem up the thigh.  I will also list the Michael Kors shoes I wore, the corset that fits perfectly and does no show in front or back on this dress, as well as the hand-knit shrug I wore at dinner to cover my shoulders and back once the sun went down and it got cold.
