This incredibly unique and special dress is an absolute dream. I felt like I was floating down the isle with this gorgeous 88'' train following behind me. The length is dramatic, breathtaking, and so elegant with the luxurious chiffon fabric. Lucia by Flora has very distinct details that I could not find in any other dress. It's glamorous with a vintage feel, and has handcrafted layers that makes it so original in design. Floral Bridal is known for craftsmanship, quality, and handmade embroidery and beadwork. This is especially noticeable in the top where you can see individual pearls symmetrically laid out in this one-of-a-kind lace.
This dress was worn once for my wedding, and was incredibly cared for before, during, and after.
Here are all the details:
- This was shipped overseas directly from the designer in Israel. This dress is very exclusive and not easy to find at most bridal shops.
- This is a european size 4 dress
- I had it slightly altered. I was close to a size 4, but there were still some areas that were loose in the top. I used a seamstress that specialized in this designer, and she did a wonderful job (Please see pictures - She covered up her sneaky work in the back of the dress, but had to cut areas of the lace to tighten the top. Not noticeable whatsoever when wearing the dress).
- She added a discreet bustle to the back, as well as bra cups. These are attached with a single stitch, so they're easy to remove if preferred.
- I had this professionally cleaned at Cameos in NYC after the wedding, and they also re-stitched the hem a quarter-inch so the bottom looks brand new. They specialize in designer wedding dresses and did an excellent job.
