Dress was purchased in Chicago, Illinois at the bridal couture shop “Bella Bianca” as part of the Spring 2017 Galia Lahav Couture “Le Secret Royal” Collection. The gown is a custom-made, hand-stitched piece made in Tel Aviv, Israel, specifically for my measurements and was worn once during my wedding in January 2018, in great condition. It has a mermaid silhouette that shines vibrantly from the detailed sequined netting that was worn with a 4” Jimmy Choo heel, so the front hem just touches the floor at 5’3” (I am 4’10”). The designer’s website carried the following description for the adorned gown: “Nude fabric and its skirt is constructed from knitted beading. It is a sparkly gown and has a striking geometric shape. The dress has long sleeves and drapes in a regal form. It is entirely made from clear beads that rest over a nude base fabric and is made to resemble the idea of sparkling ripples of water over sand.” (Source:
The back of the gown has hand-stitched floral appliques with beading that form a vertical strap down the center of the dress, surrounded by sheer mesh on either side to create an open-back feel. Clear snaps added to keep all the flowers along the zipper perfectly fitted to the body. Sleeves are matched with the same embellished vertical piece that continues from the front panel down the side of the arms to the wrist as pictured. The dress is a work of art- graceful, shines with slight movement, perfect for photos, and allows for movement!
