This is a Galia Lahav "Fiona" dress purchased at Roma Sposa in Birmingham, MI. Silk satin dress, richly adorned with lace appliques, sheer back with pearl fastening, long flounced train, with lace trimming and lace medallion appliques.
The sheer illusion back is stunning, sexy, and elegant. The satin material has a bit of stretch to it and hugs my curves perfectly, and the ruching along the butt is superb. You will not find another wedding dress that accents your butt like this one does! The fit and flare design ends in miles and miles of exquisite lace train, which will make any staircase or outdoor shot dazzle.
This is a custom made wedding dress, stitched specifically for my measurements, so there is no "tag" or size that came with the gown. I am normally a size 2/4 or a small and my measurements are listed below:
- Bust = 85cm (33.5")
- Waist = 68.5cm (27")
- High Hips = 75.5cm (29.5")
- Low Hips = 91.5cm (36")
I am 5'3" and I wore 4" (adorable Jimmy Choo) heels, so the hem just touches the floor at 5'7".
The thick satin material has a bit of give to it and will stretch slightly from the above measurements. I have also inquired as to lengthening the dress, and my seamstress says is is possible to able to add a swatch of satin along bottom of dress and extend the tulle and lace layers to lengthen the dress.
Alterations: I had a multi-layer French bustle added (small buttons and loops hidden throughout the lace) so the train can be bustled up and dress can be worn after ceremony and pictures. I also used removable bust cups which were removed during the cleaning process but will be shipped with the dress.
The dress was worn once for my wedding in June 2015 and has been professionally cleaned and boxed in a preservation box. It was received back on 9/24/15 and is available immediately.
