I had this beautiful Galia Lahav gown style #GALA-1010 custom made (one of a kind!) from Bridal Reflections in New York City. It is made from delicate, soft silk tulle, giving the gown a softer and sheer look compared to traditional ball gowns that can appear stiff. The skirt has many layers (white & blush colored) that you can remove during alterations if you'd like to adjust the volume. The skirt follows with a beautiful silk train which gives the gown an "ethereal" look. It flows beautifully and is easy to walk in. The 3-D custom floral embroidery is simply magnificent and looks great in pictures! The top of the gown is an off-the-shoulder sweet heart neckline style where you can remove the off-the-shoulder straps if you'd like to wear it strapless. The sheer corset is divine and can easily be pulled in or out to fit to your size. My bra size is 32-DD; you can add padding to the cup and/or easily adjust it during alterations to fit to your chest size.
It truly was a perfect gown for my wedding day. Of all the dresses I've tried, this one made me feel like a true bride. Being comfortable was very important to me and this dress felt like my second skin. It is very light in weight and easy to walk in.
I finished the look off with a simple silk tulle cathedral length veil also made by Galia Lahav, which will be included with purchase of the gown! (valued at $500).
I wore the gown for less than 2 hours time (ceremony and photos). It is in mint perfect condition (practically brand new) after the wedding. I had the dress professionally dry cleaned, although it honestly was not needed.
