The size of this dress is a 40 European. Which I believe is a US 10. I typically wear a US size 4 or 6 in normal, everday clothing. I weigh 130 pounds and I'm 5'6"
The dress fit like a glove, the only alterations I had done was hemming the bottom for length. I ordered extra fabric from Galia Lahav to add the leaf design on the bottom of the V neck. My seamstress did an amazing job on that! She hand-cut each individual leaf, and hand sewed them on to the sheer fabric. If you love the Gala 104 dress but think its a little too low cut, then this dress is for you! I did not alter anything else. The neckline, back, waist, hips was not altered at all.
There are some rips on the bottom tulle, I think I couldve shortened the length a little bit more. If you are any shorter than I am you will hem the length and will probably remove the rips at the bottom. All rips are at the bottom.
The original dress comes with the large tulle bows on the shoulders, a lot of pictures on pinterest you see people without them. I ordered my dress without them as well so if youre looking for that shoulder feature, mine will not have it.
